The Student Educational Enrichment Program (SEEP) is a seven week, academic enrichment program for Pre-College and College students. SEEP is geared toward students interested in the health professions who are underrepresented in the health professions and/or socially, educationally, or economically disadvantaged. The objectives of Student Educational Enrichment Programs are to enrich students' knowledge of biomedical sciences, to familiarize students with educational opportunities at MCG, to help students identify their specific career goals, and to enhance students' competitiveness for admission to health professions schools.
Pre-College:
Pre-College students will pursue academic coursework in the following areas:
- Biomedical Sciences Courses
- Pre-Professional Development Seminars and Forums
- Communication and Writing Skill Development
- Library Research Seminars
- Clinical Volunteering
College:
College students will pursue coursework in the following areas:
- Biomedical Science Courses
- Admissions Test Preparation
- Health Sciences Admissions Seminars
- Pre-Professional Development Seminars and Forums
- Clinical Shadowing
