Facilities Planning, Design and Construction is available to answer questions regarding the use of space, assist in program planning for renovations or new construction, and cost estimating and preliminary planning. 

The mission of Facilities Planning, Design and Construction is to provide a safe, healthy, adequate and aesthetic physical environment for the education, research and clinical mission of GRU.  

Services provided by the department include:

  • Maintenance of physical space inventory, which includes space size, square footage and departmental assignment;
  • All construction done on the GRU campus;
  • Provides cost estimates for construction projects;
  • Acts as a liaison between GRU and the Board of Regents and GSFIC;
  • Assists the institution in developing Facility Capital Outlay and MRR requests to the Board of Regents for funding of construction/renovation and maintenance of facilities.
