Welcome to Faculty Support Services

Effective January 9, 2013, Georgia Health Sciences University consolidated with Augusta State University to become Georgia Regents University.  The consolidated university consists of nine colleges on two campuses.

Faculty Support Services at Georgia Regents University (Augusta) serves the Health Sciences and Summerville campus communities as well as satellite campuses throughout the state. 

The Health Sciences Campus is comprised of five colleges: 

Medical College of Georgia

College of Dental Medicine

College of Nursing

College of Allied Health Sciences

College of Graduate Studies

The Summerville Campus is comprised of four liberal arts colleges: 

Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

Hull College of Business

College of Education

College of Science and Mathematics  

In collaboration with other HR professionals and college-based faculty affairs' liaisons working as an integral team, Faculty Support Services works to provide our campus communities with required resources to facilitate the understanding of procedural requirements as outlined in the Faculty Appointment, Development, Promotions and Tenure (FADPT) Policy of the GRU Faculty Manual and the USG Policy Manual.

Our primary goal is to deliver a more efficient institutional operation as it relates to faculty policies, procedures and the on-going delivery of faculty information to the GRU campus communities, the University System of Georgia and the general public.
