As a student run organization, our main objective is to advance interests of graduate students, identify and protect their rights, and make sure their voice is heard on all vital issues at different institutional levels. GSO is equally committed to the community at large - organizing service and fundraising events, and creating lots of volunteering opportunities for graduate students year round. We are also your best source for recreation. In fact, our exciting social and sports events are attracting students from all around campus. We are looking forward to working with our members and friends, the returning and new graduate students. We hope to become part of your positive intellectual, social, and cultural experiences at the Georgia Health Sciences University.

The GSO was awarded the GHSU Student Organization of the Year Award for 2010-2011 in the category of Campus Contributor. GSO was awarded this prestigious "Campus Contributor Award" for "significant impact on the GHSU campus through programming, fundraising, and the leadership development of members". This reflects the hard work many have put in to develop GSO over the last 2 years. It is a great honor for GSO and is dedicated to all those who have been a part of the tremendous efforts that GSO has been involved in and the resulting positive impact GSO has made.
