Performance appraisals are due annually between March 1 and April 30 (please note this time frame has been adjusted from previous years), with a submission date to Human Resources no later than May 15. Performance appraisals are managed by the Human Resources Division and can be submitted to HR Training and Education, Room HS 1146.
Mid-Year reviews will be required annually in addition to the annual performance appraisal. The mid-year review should be conducted in the month of September annually and submitted not later than October 15 to Human Resources (HS 1146).
Employees who receive an action plan to improve performance documented in their annual performance appraisal will require written follow-up to determine if expectations have been met. Please utilize one of the action plan follow-up memorandum templates listed below.

These links are appraisal tools that are acceptable for use in the annual GRU evaluation of postdoctoral fellows. Supervisors may prefer to use these tools or the standard GRU Performance Appraisal shown above. Click on the appraisal tool you wish to use and save it to your desktop. The FASEB Individual Development Plan for Postdocs includes the Annual Review Form which is a non-fillable document.
Performance evaluations for executive leadership staff will be conducted July through August annually. Mid-Year reviews will be conducted December through January annually. All evaluations should be submitted to Human Resources Records.
