IMPORTANT -- There are two types of installations, Managed and Unmanaged:

The Managed installations are for computers that are on campus or are brought to campus on a regular basis. They receive definition updates automatically.

The Unmanaged installations are for computers that are off campus or rarely brought to campus.These will require manual definition updates via the LiveUpdate option in Symantec.

Please do not use the Managed client for computers off campus hoping that they will be automatically updated. It will not happen and you will not be protected from virus activity.

Windows:

DO NOT install on computers with Windows Vista
