GeorgiaView Vista: Getting Access

Whether you just need to get into a course or just don t remember where to go and how to get in, this guide is for you.

How do I get an account?

Faculty accounts are created by Banner. As a faculty member, if you have a Banner record and have an active teaching assignment, then you have a GeorgiaView Vista account. Contact the Online Support Center and a support representative can tell you whether or not you have an account.

Once I have an account, how do I get access to a course?

There are a couple of options for gaining access.

  1. Request a teaching assignment for the course to be set up in Banner through your department or contact the Registrar s Office directly. A teaching assignment in Banner is how you get credit for teaching or lecturing in a course.
  2. If you don t need credit for teaching, contact the course coordinator for your course. Course coordinators have the ability to give you access at a level that does not grant editing or gradebook rights.

What comes after configuration?

Once you have an account, access, and computer configured, it is time to log in. To log into GeorgiaView Vista, go to one of the following.
