Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship

Prerequisites for Admission

Georgia Regents University currently accepts two fellows in its Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship each year on a competitive basis. Candidates must have successfully completed or be in the last year of training in an accredited residency in anesthesiology to apply. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or on a sponsored J-1 Visa.

How to Apply

If you plan to apply to GRU's Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship, please submit:

• GRU application

• Official medical school transcript

• Notarized copy of medical school diploma

• Step 1, 2 and 3 Board scores

• Official record of Board scores

• ECFMG certificate, if applicable

• Verification of residency training

• Most recent In-Training/Self-assessment residency examination scores

• Data sheet

• Curriculum vitae

• Personal statement

• Copy of dean’s letter

• 3 current letters of recommendation

• Letter from your residency program director

 

Applications for each academic year should be completed by September 30. If you wish to be considered for an interview, please ensure that we receive all the required documentation. To check on the completeness of your file, contact Susan Dawkins. If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit GRU in Augusta for an interview. Interviews are usually conducted from July through December.
