Rotation Information :  This practice is a busy, multi physician practice with many excellent opportunities for learning.  You will spend time in the main office as well as the satellite office located in Woodstock, GA. Your lead preceptor will be Dr. Litrel. Please keep him aware of your learning needs and interests. He will do his best to see that you get the experiences you desire. Schedule an exit interview with Dr. Litrel the last week of your rotation.

What to do before your rotation: Contact Cherokee Women's Health Specialist to make arrangements for arrival time and check-in at least one week before the rotation start date.

Please arrive at your preceptor's office by 8:30 AM on the second day of your rotation.  The first day is reserved for orientation at MCG as well as travel time from Augusta to Canton.  Students are expected to attend a hospital orientation and obtain a hospital badge at Northside Hospital-Cherokee at 9:00 AM on the first day of the rotation. Students are expected back to the practice by 11:00 AM following the hospital orientation.

Housing Information:  No housing is available for this rotation.  Students who agree to complete a rotation at this site must supply their own housing. 

Check Out:  Please return your ID badge to Mrs. Winslett. Call the Blue Ridge AHEC staff if this is a problem. Grades will be held until all borrowed items are returned.
