What to do before your scheduled rotation:  If you will be in need of AHEC housing for this rotation you must contact the Foothills AHEC as soon as possible to make the necessary arrangements.  Housing is provided to students on a first come - first serve basis.

Please call Lisa Moon at the Toccoa Clinic Women's Wellness Center to make arrangements for arrival and check in at your rotation site.  Ms. Moon will assist you with handling your site orientation and assistance with obtaining your identification bade. Students traveling on Monday AM should report to the office at 1:30 PM and students traveling on Monday PM should report to the office on Tuesday at 9:00 AM.

Rotation Information:  You will be working with Dr. Fernandez as well as other providers including nurse midwives and nurse practitioners.  Call varies during the rotation (weekday and weekend).  Students will also travel to satellite offices when available while on rotation. 

Dr. Fernandez is a board certified OB/GYN and also offers a variety of cosmetic procedures. Dr. Fernandez sees patients at the Toccoa Clinic, the Lavonia Clinic and is on staff at Stephens County Hospital where he serves as current Chief of Staff. 

Check Out:  Please returned all borrowed items such as keys, name badge, etc. to the site at the end of your rotation.  Grades will be held until all items are returned.
