Advanced Standing Medical Admission Committee

Composition

1. This special committee shall be chaired by the Associate Dean for Admissions and shall include five other faculty members appointed in the usual way. The faculty members shall serve for three years on a rotating basis.

Function

1. The committee shall evaluate and make recommendations to the Dean regarding applicants for advanced standing to the second and third year classes of the School of Medicine.

2. The committee shall present a summary report (without identification of individual applicants) to the Senate after the beginning of the academic year.

3. The committee shall make appropriate recommendations for changes in its composition or procedure.
