We are now Georgia Health Sciences University.

Campus Overview

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is located in newly renovated space on the third floor of the Sanders Research and Education Building. Our location in the Sanders R&E building is quite convenient for interactions with members of the Vascular Biology and Synapses Centers which are both housed on the third floor, while the Departments of Cell Biology and Anatomy, and Biochemistry primarily occupy the first and second floor laboratories. The cell imaging core facility with confocal and multi-photon microscopes is also housed in the R&E building. The Sanders R & E building is centrally located on the GHSU campus being connected via enclosed, overground walkways with the Institute of Molecular Medicine and Genetics where the GHSU Transgenic Animal, FACS Cell Sorting and Genomics Core Facilities are located. The Department of Physiology, Office of Grants and Contracts and the GHSU Hospital can be accessed from the IMMAG building. The GHSU Cancer Research Center, Greenblatt library and Adminstration Buildings are a short outdoor stroll away from the R & E building.
