Oncologic Surgery

At the Children’s Medical Center, our pediatric surgeons work closely with our pediatric hematologists to provide optimum treatment as well as comfort for our patients. Patients are seen immediately after their diagnosis, and undergo procedures for central lines, biopsy or other procedures. In the case of solid tumors (neuroblastoma, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, teratomas and or solid tumors), the surgical team works hand-in-hand with pediatric hematologists.
