The LRC provides practical experiences that reinforce the classroom instruction our students receive. Faculty can schedule labs for their students and the Center employs a full-time nurse educator who is also available for individual appointments. The LRC contains many models, simulators, and manikins to aid in learning nursing skills and stocks other equipment that can be checked out by students, faculty, and staff.The LRC faculty and staff provide a variety of services, including:
  • course-related skills training, practice, and support
  • course-related equipment loan and support
  • skills remediation by faculty referral
  • individual and small group skills tutoring and review by appointment
  • small group meeting space
