Nursing Workforce Diversity Program

The Nursing Workforce Diversity (NWD) project targets prospective students from diverse and under-represented backgrounds who wish to enter the field of nursing.

Through targeted programs and services, the NWD will increase the successful enrollment and matriculation of nursing students of African American, Asian, Hispanic, American Indian, Hawaiian native, Caucasian and Alaskan Native
descent. The program will also benefit students from educationally or economically disadvantaged backgrounds - students of all races and gender.

GHSU College of Nursing is committed to providing a quality education for all of its students. This commitment is strengthened through NWD which will ensure the success of students who are underrepresented in the field of nursing.
