About the GAPC

The Greater Augusta Pediatric Collaborative first met on February 11, 2012, having been organized to promote a sense of camaraderie and connectness by Drs. Davidson Freeman, Bernard Maria, Karen Foushee, and Jerry Miller. Click here to view the initial letter of invitation. Meetings include a brief CME presentation (keyed to General Pediatrics MOC learning objectives), an update from pediatric leadership in the community and at GHSU, and open discussion.

Objectives

1. To improve communication with colleagues.
2. Build a stronger sense of community to address important challenges together.
3. Help us organize to navigate changes in health care funding.
4. Help better integrate primary to quaternary levels of pediatric care for the region.
5. Better educate us about new developments in pediatric care.
