About Coordinator University 101

Coordinator University 101 is an exciting and comprehensive training program sponsored by the Division of Continuing Education and the Office of Human Research Protection.

Successful completion of the program is required for new research coordinators and new research team members performing coordinator duties. It is designed to provide instruction on all aspects of coordinating a research study at GRU.

These individuals are identifed to the Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP) by GRU Human Resources based on their job title and duties. They may also be identified by the principal investigator via direct notification to OHRP or by submitted documentation to the Institutional Review Boards or Chesapeake Research Review, Inc.

Upon completion of the training program, coordinators will be able to effectively organize and manage a research study at GRU, Georgia Health Sciences Health System, and the Charlie Norwood VAMC. Coordinator University 101 is also open to experienced coordinators and other research team members!
